Marjorie Eaton
Marjorie Lee Eaton (February 5, 1901 – April 21, 1986) was an American actress and artist known for her distinctive character roles in film and television. Eaton began her career as a painter and sculptor, studying under renowned artists and exhibiting her work before turning to acting. She transitioned to Hollywood in the 1930s, where her unique look and talent led to memorable roles in films such as "Mary Poppins" (1964), in which she played Miss Persimmon, and "The Trouble with Angels" (1966). Eaton also had a notable presence on television, appearing in series like "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" and "My Three Sons." Her most famous role came when she portrayed Emperor Palpatine in "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980), with her facial performance and voice altered in post-production.
