Pia Alfreda Schipani (May 4, 1954) is an American actress and singer who began her career as a child performer on Broadway, in regional theater, and in the film Butterfly (1982), Fake-Out (1982), The Lonely Lady (1983), Voyage of the Rock Aliens (1984), and Hairspray (1988). Zadora gained national attention for Butterfly, winning the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year while simultaneously receiving Golden Raspberry Awards for Worst Actress and Worst New Star for the same performance. After her film career declined, she concentrated on music, releasing several albums and earning a Grammy nomination in 1985.
